Creating Your Own Video Video for Your Flipped/Blended Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The power of a flipped or blended classroom "done right" is found in giving students autonomy to learn basic content at their own pace while allowing the teacher to be available when students need their help the most.

Video content created by teachers can play an important role in allowing students to learn to follow precisely multi-step procedures (CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RST.6-83) or synthesize information from a range of sources (CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RST.11-12.7).

Whether you have a laptop, tablet, or cell phone, it's easy to create video allowing students to learn background knowledge at their pace and schedule. For this session, bring a device (laptop, tablet, and/or cell phone) and come ready to learn the process of creating video content you can use with your students right away.
